If you choose to ignore the big warning it produces when doing so, the responsibility is entirely yours. Zadig is designed to be able to replace HID drivers if this is what you want (because, if you know what you are doing, there do exist cases where this is what you want). A driver installation is NOT a benign operation, and as much as some people may think otherwise, Zadig is a powerful tool, that you can use to shoot yourself in the foot, so you are expected to have a minimum knowledge about driver installation operation. If you choose to ignore warnings such as these, and try things at random (such as installing the WCID driver, which is unlikely to help), then it's up to you to fix the issues you created. Also, PLEASE pay attention to the big warning Zadig shows when you are about to replace an HID driver:
